Inspirational Blogger Award

I got nominated for the “Very Inspirational Blogger Award”!

Say What???!!

Another blogger, and facebook friend, Jsack Moms House, nominated my little blog for this awesome award. I love talking her, and she’s hilarious! We bonded really quickly in our blog group, and read each others blogs as well. I follow hers, because she so positive and inspirational in every entry she writes. I’m picky about who I follow just because I want to read natural writings, not forced. Her blog is from the heart and you can really identify with her in every entry you read of hers. So thank you lady! It’s an honor to be recognized in the blogging world.

With the nomination, their is a series of questions you have to answer, and I was up for the challenge!

Let’s get it in!

1. Why did you start your blog?

I have been blogging for a long time, but this one stated because of close friends telling me I had so many tips and ideas I should write a book on it. I didn’t have the time or connections to do so, so I did the next best thing. I created a blog for my creations, processes, ideas, and everything in between. It has literally taken a life of its own.

2. What is the book you have read that has touched you the most?

Wow. I really haven’t picked up a book in ages since I’m in college, and about 80 percent of my reading is for class related purposes. Sad thing is I have a long list of books I want to read, but haven’t read them. Most of the time if I’m not reading for class, I read other blogs. There’s something to be said to reading raw work over the writer who is known, and after a certain point they write to fill a quota.

3. If you could eat dinner with a famous person who is still living, whom would you choose?

One subject I don’t get into with people on my blog is politics. It’s a conversational killer, and it’s so toxic recently. With that said, I would love to dine with Senator Elizabeth Warren and Hillary Clinton. I may not talk about politics on my age, but I follow them intensely, and these women fascinate me. They challenge the establishment, and I would love to pick their brains to see where they stand on a lot of things.

4. Where is the one place you have visited that gives you complete calmness?

The PCH Highway in Southern California. Driving up the coastline is very calming to me, and when I live in California, I would drive that freeway every now and again to just think. It’s a beautiful sight to take in.

5. Are you a bucket list person? If so, name one thing on it?

Of course! It’s a long list too. One thing I’m working on is the goal of having my own restaurant by the age of 45. It’s one of my dreams to have, and as much as I’ve worked in the industry, I’m past the employee stage, and too creative to sign away my ideas. I kinda see myself as a brand, and I can’t give my brand away to corporations, I want to be my brand to have the public enjoy, and to fund our family for days to come.

6. What is the goal of your blog?

I want the blog to take off. To be my career. I’ve been writing since I was 12 in different ways, and in this particular area, I want to help parents in every situation. That they can get back to being organized, and more independent of the masses in a sense. That just because it looks hard on tv or in a friends house, doesn’t mean you can’t have it together. Doesn’t mean you should sacrifice meals, time, or yourself to have your household together. Also, that having brand new isn’t always the best. Get creative and believe you can do it yourself. That’s the root of common sense, to be at peace and little to no chaos. When you use your common sense, decision making, and family time is very easy. That’s what I want people to see.

7. What is a well day spent to you?

In a perfect world, it would be my dream of being an successful ‘in the black’ entrepreneur. Currently, it’s getting my homework done, planning out my blog entries, cleaning/cooking for the kids, doing budget, running errands, and making/going to any appointments. Anything that else happens during the day is a bonus.

8. How do you start your day?

Prayer and mediation. I’m not religious, but I pray, a lot. It gives m strength to tackle the day, and a way to say thanks for giving my family and I another day. There has been too many times our number should have been up, but God seems to have a purpose for myself and the four beings I’m responsible for. I also let God know my thoughts and try to rise to the occasion on a daily basis despite somethings that ay set me back, like my bad knees in the cold weather.

9. What is your favorite holiday?

It’s a tie between Halloween and Thanksgiving. Halloween is an performance artists’ Christmas. Especially if you have make up artistry experience. That holiday in our house we get creative to get free candy. Thanksgiving is close to my birthday, and I love to cook. So we go all out with these two holidays, and began to plan them six months ahead of schedule.

10. Are you where you want to be professionally and if not, what will you do about it?

No. I’m an actress at heart, and I stopped taking parts when I began to see things at home needed to be dealt with. I’m also an entrepreneur like I said before, and I have many plans and dreams to fulfill to get to where I think I’ll be professionally. That was something I had to learn recently. Just because one is on hold doesn’t mean you give up on them all of them, so it’s a work in progress.

11. What is your favorite quote?

It’s a tie between the two quotes.

“Patience is not just the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting. God has the solution – Don’t Worry” and “The truth will set you free”. Basic words to describe my life.

Holy cow, those were some deep questions! So part of the nomination is to also nominate five other blogs. Whether they accept or not is up to them, but I’m truly honored in the privilege to have this award.

Here our my top five. All our hilarious, and have a facebook page to follow their hilarious shenanigans, and I’ve had the privilege to get to know each one of these people, along with them being extremely supportive of tis blog as well!

lifeofadramaqueenmomma.blogspot.com (A day in a life in a drama queen’s momma)

This is so awesome sweet Mama, I loved your answers to the questions. Your mind fascinates me with all your goals you have for your future. I believe you will have that restaurant and it will be so successful you’ll have Guy Richie there to sample you’re awesome menu. I am so happy we’ve connected in the land of blogging and Facebook. You inspire me with your drive, passion, and love you have for your family. Great blog, thank you for accepting the nomination. 😊❤️
