My Peeps!

I’m so excited for today! I have some announcements for the page and blog that are going to be epic! I figured it would be easier to to write it all here, then do five different post. Are we ready?

Lets do this!

First up: The video game/disney poll of the facebook page.

I get traffic on both the blog and the page, and was hoping for more votes, but got enough to put a line up together. The poll was for a month celebration of the blog. I wanted to do something special for making it this long in the competitve world of blogging. I started this thinking I was taking on a cheaper version of Martha Stewart, but it’s taken on a life of it’s own, and that’s awesome.

I thought the video game-disney concept of food and drinks would be awesome. A month long celebration of what is somehow in our lives, gaming products, or disney movies, with my spin on it.

Without further delay, here’s the top picks by category:

Disney movie snacks:

Aladdin, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Monsters Inc, Frozen, Lion King, Lilo and Stitch.

Old School Food:

There you go. Some awesome ideas came in, and starting in March, each week, we will have these posted to the blog. I’ll choose one from each on tuesdays for #tastytuesday recipe! Can’t wait!

Second: The Big Contest

Today we start the contest giveaway! As you know, as of St Patty’s Day, we are year old, and this journey has a learning experience for me. I’ve met some of the most awesome people through this, and shared so much. You guys have learned about me and the crew. Seen major milestones, and expanded this site in so ways, so I felt like it should be about you! Celebrate the craziness that is this blog, and keeping it going.

What is the giveaway you speak of CSM?

Glad you ask! It started with this blog, and that’s where is begins. For a month(February 6th-March 6th), I want to see what you think about the blog, ideas, and everything about the page. It will be about the detail. I’m going to get questions for you remember, or write down. You’ll take those questions, make your entry, and I’ll randomly choose two winners. It’s like a reading version of the Kelly and Michael game they play on their show.
